mopar... eah.
« on: December 10, 2006 - 07:09:05 PM »
Latly i've really lost all fire for mopar. Not just cudas, but all mopar. I've got really sick of all the craze over them and the prises. I've stopped finding joy getting mopar mags, or even seeing one driving on the road. I've lost all drive to ever own one. I still like old cars and still want to restore one... I dont know. I think mopars over rated any more. Just dose'nt do any thing for me. If it dose do any thing for me, it's get me a little mad. Im not saying any thing bad about mopar owners. i just dont really like the cars any more. This site has been great and so have the members. But i cant talk about what i would rather talk about here. So thanks to all, and may God richly bless all of you.Jesse

By----- we'll be here. And welcome back if you return. Any car that is a true muscle car will be pricey. Some just loose interest and find other things such as you. Don't care about the costs, or the vested value. I just like the cars. And me being a mechanic, well that helps to keep the urge going. So there will always be cars and waves of different erras in dif, years and models. Best to you and Merry Christmas.

OH.....Youi got any parts you wanna toss out our way?  That will help the pricey thingy and keep the costs down :2thumbs:     But your not the first

That will make your job a bit unplesant (working in a mopar resto shop)  being around them all day. Jesse it sounds more like the inner frustration of not being able to have one of your own at the moment. Hang in there,  your car will come one day. On the other hand the "love them or leave them" thought is understandable. I love our Mopars and could never by choice leave them. Overrated? NEVER ! Overpriced? Undoubtedly, but it's like a rare painting, (or anything collectable) they bring the high dollars. But beleive me our Mopars are not the big bucks variety and we love them as though they were 1 of 1 cars. You have the love and passion or ya don't, I had to wait nearly 30 years to get back into Mopars, so don't just give up unless you really don't care to begin with.  :2thumbs: Ya know your always welcome here buddy.

It does get frustrating when you don't have money to work on a project. And sometimes these periods last a lot longer than we want them to. Its hard to get past these periods, but they do pass.

Say what? .......I have sat here and watched these cars go through the roof,....through the damn atmosphere!!  Nobody has ever given me anything,I've earned everything I own. I felt that if I didn't do something soon,I might never have a car of my dreams.I was born in 70'.  I could never touch a 70-71. They are just too much,I was sad,and alittle angry.   I went ALL out for a car,I'm BARELY making it.   But I also have never cried tears of such joy as I did the day it happened. My life will never be the same.  Let's go for a ride man.
