Awsome find!!! It looks very restorable by the pics; Hey Plumcrazychris your pal is lucky!!!
Wish him good luck with the restoration. One quick question since you are in Austin is there any reputable restoration shops in the San Antonio or surrounding areas that I can get some work done on my car and also where I can get parts for my car?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

Sad to say Cuda is worse than he thought. carpet was so rotten he just pulled on it to remove and half front floor came out with it. I see the trunk deck is ate up and the quarter along with drivers door hinge area is wasted.

He asked if I would list it on ebag for him, but he wont tell me what he will take. Think he's fishing for offer from me but I have no means to restore that car.

I am not surpised, I would have been more surprised if the floors, trunk, and frame rails were cherry  :2cents:  Sounds like he rather take the  :money: and run, rather than dealing with the time and cost of the metal work, along with the restoration  :working: cost.  I can understand that.  Better now than after he might have torn it apart IMO.

Post the fender tag info so we can see what it came with from the factory.

If he posts it on eBay, yes he will get money for it, but the car will either be rebodied or bondo-ed and then back on eBay within a year...

Tell him to post the info here in the for sale area, that way someone who wants the car and will restore it right can buy it.

:iagree:  sell it to someone here that really wants a '71 that will take the time and spend the money to do it right and make us proud.

On another note, why do people leave such nice muscle cars out there to rust away?

I have talked to Steve Enochs at www.paintshop101.com and he seemed like a very reasonable guy. I have been considering sending my car down there to San Antonio because my brothers lives near by and they definately know Mopars. I don't know anyone who personally used them but my brother can vouch for that Super bee on their web site he said it was awesome. See pics attached.
