How many have tried autocross/Solo II slalom?

One of my "must do`s" next spring is to try an autocross in the `72.I have big block torsion bars and leafs and front and rear sway bars with gas shocks so with some stickier tires figure I won`t do too awfull.Has anybody tried it with an old Mopar and how`d you do?

Once I get a Cuda and have the money to upgrade the suspension I plan to do some road course driving and I plan on taking some driving classes (I've never really driven a performance vehicle or a manual, so I'm going to be learning quite a bit once I start). Autocross looks like a lot of fun as well.

Big difference between these two.

Done it many times in my 02 Z06 Vette, never in my Cuda. Once you get the bug you will want to move on to do full road course track events. There are many great clubs that hold weekend track events all over the country. It is great to see old muscle cars set up to do these events, and it's getting more and more popular.

There is Solo II and a couple other clubs that are in my area.Run everything from parking lots to oval and road courses.

Autocrossed many times, but I want to do a big track even this year. Tough trying to find the time and the place though.
