Sometimes people write something that comes across differently than the way they meant it. Other times, as others have said, people get "keyboard muscles" and say things they'd never say to someone in person.
This is the most civil web-site out there when it comes to that type of behavior. I dont post much on Moparts since there always seem to be people who just want to start crap over there.
I hope you stick around...after i sold my hemicuda a few months ago, i stopped posting since i just did not feel like i belonged without a cuda or challenger. Instead of deleting my account, just did not visit much. Now i have the T/A wanna-be, i'm glad i left the account intact.
Hang in there Dave, the good people on here far outnumber the bad.
