Here's ole yeller. I bought this car for 2k and started fixin it up. Engine was MIA but it's an M46 barracuda lemontwist. I was rust free, but I got screwed on the body and paint. Someone in colorado just got it and it has a hemi in it now so I've been told

...I used to run into Wes and John at the MOPAR Nats(last time I saw them, they were cruising Brice road in an Isetta), but I havent seen them in many years....in about 1989 I bought a Daytona from John and Wes....it was a one owner 6K mile car from Huntingdon, Pa....a very ugly custom paint job.....they will remember it for sure...turned out, it was the first Daytona shipped in the USA...see if your dad remembers this beauty...tell me more about Johns collection when you get a chance...

ps....tell John and Wes I said "Hi"

...my dad (pictured) loved to drive the Daytona....he thought it was the most beautiful car he had ever seen :bigsmile:

DAVE70....love the Cragars.....I hardly remember ANYONE with stock wheels back then....what color is/was the Challenger ???

I only have pics of my dads 69 runner at keystone, now prp, back in the mids 70s.  Still tempted to build my satellite like it was so he'll make it the original 999 orange :grinyes:
