    Barracuda is in the shop to get fixed back up. Very reputable shop, two frame machines, been in buisness a million years. Buying a fender from a member here, and a steering column is really all they are waitin on to get started. I CANT WAIT to drive it again. I'm DYIN!  :eek4: I think i'll be buying a LM-1 once i get it back, because i still need that 13second slip, and going from 5,200ft d/a to a current 471 outta do it   :grinyes: :2thumbs:

    That's great news, Goody!!!  Be sure to let us know how things go with it while it's being fixed. :2thumbs: :cheers: (I'm curious if the impact shifted the frame any and if so, how much.)

    try drivin your new challenger for 3 weeks with carb problems & engine falls apart; the new challenger will be AWESOME,  coming "who knows?"  :working:

    Good to hear your rolling on the Cuda. Yep, a mile up versus sea level track , you should see a big difference in E.T. . Your going to tune it a bit different though..

    Nothin much has changed really. They are waiting for the fender and all the parts before they start tearing it down. Its only been in a couple days, shop owner is a fellow car guy. Has a few chebbies, but used to own a GTX and what not when he was younger. Insurance tried to total it, he pretty much said its worth too much, not your average car, whatever he needed to say to get that idea out of their head.  :jumping:



    Oh and yes vinB, i'm definately hoping to see a big e.t difference, well 1/2 second? have to wait and see, will definately need to retune it. I'll have a chassis dyno at my disposal at school too. :grinyes:

    Don't expect  1/2 a second improvement right away. Lots of other factors besides altitude effect ET.
    Traction of course but also tuning the engine to run.  Jets, sparkplugs and timing.....
