1970 Challenger /6 Grandma's Car

      Anybody want to take a stab at what this one's worth???
1970 Challenger with slant 6, three on the tree. Running, driving car. Red exterior/ Red interior. Literally Grandma's car. Runs great, looks great. Very minimal rust, great interior. Bone stock including wheels and hub caps. I'm trying to buy it.....guy says "Make me an offer."  What do you guys think?

I'd say a fair deal would be around $3,000.00.  If they think that's too low, maybe $3,500.00 to $4,500.00...It's sad that even the original slant 6 cars go for so much because people usually just buy them because it's a '70 and plan on dropping something more powerful into it.  Oh, those prices are taking into consideration it would be a project car. (needs body work, paint, some interior restoration, etc.)

If the body and frame are solid, this worth much more than 3K. As was mentioned, you can drop a big block into it and have some real fun. Are there many options? AC, PS, PB, or such?

I think that its worth quite a bit if it is solid, as MEK said.  Heck, I'd leave the ol' slant in it, use it for a driver, and pound the crap out of it till it died, then start over.  Slants in these cars nowdays are cool to me, everyone wants a v8.  Slants are unique

I know what you mean. I would love to know what kind of gas mileage I could get out of a slant-6, in my daily driver E-Body. I have to think that many people didn't check off the 6 banger option. So... I guess we all like the car so far focal 7.

So tell us,are you gonna buy it?Looks like a broken torsion bar?or rotted crossmember?But that would make a great car,its so complete.Can you get it for a good price?I mean you must have talked to the owner by now.
