KILL STORIES
« on: December 18, 2006 - 09:42:52 PM »
I was just curious why there is an area in here for posting races???

A lot of people seem to post STREET RACES which is illegal as heck and serious DEATH and INJURIES can occur to yourself and innocent people???

A lot of people seem to brag about it and do it knowing the consequences that could happen!

How many people in here have contributed to such illegal activities and put other lives at risk???

8 pack, I think you need to drop this or risk being removed. I didn't condone your OTHER thread but kept quiet, I can see what is going on here. Best if you just let it drop.

I think KILL STORIES should only be limited to TRACK EVENTS!!!

To many deaths occur each year from this...yet it is bragged about all the time in here ???

When my challenger get finished it will only be raced at the track!

I agree with JS27 here.  I read the other thread and pretty much made one initial reply then kept quiet when the fireworks started.  Having said that, I think both sides made their point and I see nothing good coming from stirring the pot more.  In my past, I have done a little street racing, and drank a beer or 2 and drove home.  Nothing happened, but I was lucky and I haven't done either in many, many years..  We all have done things we shouldn't have done, some caught, and some uncaught.  I think this one should just go away now.....      :horse:

Early on Sunday morning, September 18, 1999, Jacqueline Saburido, 20, and four friends were on their way home from a birthday party. Reggie Stephey, an 18-year-old star football player, was on his way home from drinking beer with some buddies. On a dark road on the outskirts of Austin, Texas, Reggie’s SUV veered into the Oldsmobile carrying Jacqui and the others. Two passengers in the car were killed at the scene and two were rescued. Within minutes, the car caught fire. Jacqui was pinned in the front seat on the passenger side. She was burned over 60% of her body; no one thought she could survive. But Jacqui lived. Her hands were so badly burned that her fingers had to be amputated. She lost her hair, her ears, her nose, her left eyelid and much of her vision. She has had more than 50 operations since the crash and has many more to go.

In June 2001 Reggie Stephey was convicted of two counts of intoxication manslaughter for the deaths of Jacqui’s two friends. He was sentenced to seven years in prison and fined $20,000.

8 Pack... you should definately know by now, that people who start trouble on this board find their welcome worn thin.  I would advise you learn from the advice and admonishments given to you by this community and move on without causing any more hassles here.  Everyone can make mistakes...it's how you deal with them and learn from then that defines you as a person.
