Blueberry, as a newbie, you might want to exercise more restraint in continuing off-topic conversations in someone else's thread...especially after being asked to stop.  Now, if you have anything productive to add to the Second Life subject, feel free. :grinyes:

Rev,

I am just as much to blame here...as usual I do things with a sense of humor and a light heart, and offten find myself off topic.

It's ok...we all do it from time to time and 99% of the time it's fun and we get back on track because we all know each other pretty well.  It's different when someone (especially a newbie) comes into a thread with a really negative thing to say and then stays there and talks about herself.  Poor form.

I couldnt agree more with that Rev... But sometimes I think because of my low post count that some people think I havent been around here that long at all either... I guess I need to get more active on this board.

It's probably your graphics card.  It does take a hefty computer to run it.  Whats you SL name?

Locking up in games like that is usually a sign of inadequate cooling. I'm sure it's one of the most taxing programs on your computer, as it causes everything to run much faster/hotter then normal. (Alot more so then web browsing and posting on forums!)

Might want to just try to clean out your computer, make sure there's no dust build up. Dust tends to insulate heat and trap it.

That's just a guess though! Usually store-bought computers dont come with many fans in them to help with cooling. (again, just a guess as to what you own)

If you need more help, lemme know. Might be able to help you run it better.
