What is your honest opinion on this1970 Barracuda Grand Coupe?  :cooldancing:

It needs front floor pans, rusty but not rusted through, Drivers rear quarter panel.  All other panels are in good shape including the trunk.  318 needs rebuild, no trans, all parts are there, but car needs to be totally redone. Built in Newark Delaware.
Originally an X9 (black velvet) car with black interior.

It looks like a decent project.  Right now the price is right.  It is hard to price a car without seeing it in person.

never built e-bodies in newark assembly plant????

that VIN is all screwed up   BP23G0Bxxxxxx is probably more like it, and the last 6 digits always start with a 1 or higher, with no letters.

I wouldn't pay more than 10K for it.  Looks decent!

Might be a scam

Wants full payment in 3 days??  He has a feedback rating of one and that messed up VIN.
Almost no description at all and what's up with that car cover ?

All he had to do is copy the VIN off his title onto the ad   :clueless:

Look at the two top people bidding on it. They both are new to ebay and most their bidds are on this car.

He left me a message today but I did not call him back.  I will tomorrow and check on the Vin #.

Looks like the seller's a flipper to me.  He blasted black primer over it all to hide it's true nature.  Probably picked the car up for a grand and is out to make a killing on it.  Whoever buys it will probably end up with a lot more project than they think. :villagers:
2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 5.7 Hemi

1972 Dodge Demon - "new" project

AND TOO MANY OTHER MOPARS THROUGH MY HANDS TO COUNT

Wow, that's the first time I ever saw a slant 318 before. If it's a ca car. The pics are probably in line with the car. I see it's been stripped down like it was getting ready to be gone through. Had a vinyl top at one time too. It looks more like all in experience rather than scam to me.  My only problem I deal with is ...it takes so many dollars to bring them back to original condition. I hate to spend that much money to start out with, then throw bucks in it. Shipping costs take away from the attraction too.  My 70 barracuda I just got out of ca, was stripped to bare metal then in gray primer and 1 original coat of paint on the hull. Some of the bare metal was still showing on the doors and fenders and wasn't even any rust on them. It may be a good deal. Someone should look at the car before they bid tho.

:woohoo: The seller just contacted me, and said his winning bidder turned out to be a dead beat bidder, go figure.  he said he is interested in moving it ASAP and below the winning bid.  :woo:

I am going to see it this weekend and if it is not a rust bucket or a bondo queen, it maybe coming home with me.

Whis me luck.

From what we are seeing here I would run in the other direction. Although, if its close enough and you have nothing better to do..........
