      Hope every one had a good Memorial day. We had a nasty fire here in the foot hills. It was raining ash and boy did it stink.  :eek4: They asked for no BBQs because of the air quality. So more time to work on the car  :grinyes: We actually had a good time with Friends but on to the Twisted Fish.

    I sanded my little fingers to the bone. The engine bay is now in prime.  It amazes me how many hours you can sink in to something like this. I'm either really bad at body work or really anal but it seems I'm never happy with how it looks. Actually by the end of the weekend it made me smile to realize how little bare metal is left on the project. It really is getting closer and yes I am finally happy with the engine bay.   :icon16:

    I also did some work on the valve covers ( coil covers.) They are ready to be sent to the powder coaters for a black wrinkle finish. Then they will get a Hemi logo in brushed aluminum.

    I did a bunch of other little things painted a bunch of brackets and finished the front spoiler.

    I love your attention to detail..it can be painfull I know, but man is it worth it in the end.

    Goodmark fenders showed up today!  :bananasmi Even better they wern't damaged in shipping!  :woohoo:
    I'll have to post pics later, I can't load them from this computer. They look real nice like most of the new stuff from Goodmark. The weight seems the same. The area around the headlight looks perfect I'll let you know when I fit the grill.
    I also started shooting Lizard Skin last weekend. A sound and heat coating. It goes on fairly easy with a under coating gun. http://www.lizardskin.com/

    Tada  :picture: I've been busy so I haven't fitted any thing but I went over the fenders. So far I like.  :clapping: ( how long have we waited? )

    I'm thinking the real question is which of the 2 Lizard skin products is in the trunk?   :clueless:
    The trunk pic is with the Sound Control formula the stuff is still wet in the pic it dried flat not glossy. The fender area is the Ceramic Insulation. I will put the ceramic on top of the sound control in side the car, but just use the ceramic under the car. The stuff is paintable so the under side will probably get a top coat of satin black or if I get silly body color.
