Yup like the can ( It sits on top of my tool box since I'm having withdrawals!  :hyper: )

but it must suck for your painter to block sand the car  off rotisserie,I feel for him
He just charges me more!  He has a lift and several dollys that he sets them on for lower work but I haven't seen him use a rotisserie.  :dunno:

I have to choose carefully where to put my two dollars. I would whine about my financial situation but it wouldn't help. :'(  But I will at least get some color on it before it slows to a crawl.  :pullinghair:

The body is completely apart again. detailing all the jams. It's moving right along. Jerry's a stickler for details he found several things I thought were done ( good enough? ) and fixed them. I have some pics on my wifes camera, mine was left at work, but need to get them on the computer.
I've been getting the mill ready to go. So I have something to put in it when it comes back. It took about 8 hours to grind and sand the intake to prep it for paint. After it got close It looked so nice I kinda wanted to finish it in polish. But I want the to keep the same look I have been going for. I had two days off for new years the block has prepped and primed. The "green" primer is a adhesion promoter for aluminum. So hopefully the motor will be in color by this week end. The  Motor will be "tangerine" a metallic Hemi orange, with Black Wrinkle valve covers with brushed aluminum bits for contrast. Should look intense in the black pearl engine bay.

I would have voed for brushed. But then again, to get the subtlety youre after you gotta paint. It is all looking really good.

Intake looks much much better...  Good choice on the engine color.  We mixed up a pearl tangerine color for our Challenger's tt hemi.  Wrinkle black valve coves will set it off.

[evil grin] But then again, billet valve covers would look nice too... [/evil grin]

Just a quick update. Thought you might like to see pics of the motor in paint. I'm Really happy with how it turned out. The gloss and depth to the paint is incredible.   :jumping: Its hard to see the pearl metallic in the pic, but check out the difference with the flash on vs. off! Anyway still fighting the hangover from painting. Even with a good respirator the fumes make you loopy  :screwy: Tomorrow I get to go clean up the mess.

If I remember correctly, that Orange color is a 2004 Mopar color.

I got to see it in person tonight. Boy is it nice.
