Well in threads that are new, pics load no problem . . . but threads that are old . . . all I see is the big "X" in the picture box.  Do I need to change a setting in my computer??

I'm guessing where the old photos were hosted is no longer in use/expired.

4Cruzin, it sounds to me like your computer just isn't opening the photos instantly like it normally would.  To correct this, just right click in the photo box (where the X shows) and then select "Show Picture".  That should fix it for ya. :)

Street That sounds great . . . but not working. :P  :P I assume I have some internet setting wrong if you can view all the pics in this thread!!  ???  ??? Maybe its a java setting??

Even the pics I posted on this page don't show up??
Curious??

UPDATE: SO I went to my last pic post in this thread to see if I could delete my pic and re-enter it so it would come up and all I got was an error that said the following:

2: unlink(/www/charger/cuda-challenger.com/public_html/yabbse/attachments/acuda.jpg): No such file or directory
(/www/charger/cuda-challenger.com/public_html/yabbse/Sources/ModifyMessage.php ln 301)

I'm starting to think its not my computer??  Anyone else not able to view the pics in this thread????  ???  ???

I'm tempted to agree with JS27N0B as i've encountered the same results with other threads here containing less recently posted pics. The twist is that i was recently e-mailed some pics (2 weeks ago) but ran into the same situation both at work and home (2K Pro; XP Pro) with those also. Tried different security settings through i-net tools with so far no access to the pics on either pc. 4cruzin, i'll bet it's not local also.

I have a suspision of what it may be... ::) Ross get his site hosting for free...(hence the "(/www/charger/cuda-challenger.com" part)... I believe this is hosted of a section of the DC.com site... ::) I THINK!! I know we are limited on space, so that might be one factor... and I was talking with Ross a while ago about cleaning out the attachments folder on the server to A. get us some more space and B. pull out olds pics so people could post more pics (ie. file names that are the same, won't be posted if it's already on the server)....

Hope all this makes sense....

360,

The quarters were on when I got the shell, so I don't have that.  Funny thing about the roll-bar.  Since the car is all glass, and I wanted structure strength, I had a 4" X 4" solid steel girder welded between the rear frame rails, and the rear bumber is welded to it, and the cage has two pipes going from the roll bar behind the front seats, down through the speaker holes, through the trunk, and welds onto the same steel girder.

the ongoing joke is that the "crumple zone" is "the other guys car"

Although I don't have pics right now, I can get some when I get a hold of a digi-cam again and post them.  I still need to finish the trunk to look decent in photos tho.
