It doesn't have to be what is there now,Over the years what have you come across?I'll start -----this yard used to have many but one does stick out, about 2 years ago a large crusher showed up.And a car was pulled out of the back to be crushed. It was a 70 superbird pretty much stripped but a guy talked to the guys running the crusher and came back with a flatbed and they loaded it on and I heard that the guy that bought it has it almost back together. The owner of the yard is real jerk and would rather destroy than save, and its not just one person. He hates everyone. That same guy dropped a car on the roof of a complete 69 GTO judge when another guy asked about it.

I used  to have 200 dodge/plymouth muscle cars stashed on a 107 acres in Louisiana. I was being stolen from on a regular basis. I got 5 or 6 ebodies left, 3 or 4 b bodies, and some mis fits now. Then I have these 3 e bodies here at my house in Alabama.

This '72 Challenger was in a junkyard around here last year.  I stripped some parts off of it in the spring, but when I went back in the fall he had a crusher there and had crushed almost everything.  My buddy did buy a '70 4 door sattelite from him for $300.  He had a couple Dusters & a Dart sport and a bunch on Javelins and even 1 or 2 AMXs  that he didn't crush.

Not in a junkyard but I know of a 1971 Challenger R/T 340 4 speed triple black stripe delete he says that he is restoring it for a friend. He moves it behind a boat or dumpster everytime somebody asks about it. I have seen an orange duster in a junkyard.

I seen many over the years at junk yards but the only rare one was a 1970 Barracuda convertible painted panther pink. It was a slant 6 automatic still had the fender tag but was rough and I never even gave it a 2nd thought as this was in the 80's. I also seen many complete Challengers and Barracuda's that did not run anymore and were taken to junk yards to scrap out. I tried to buy a complete 72 318 automatic Challenger out of a junk yard and they told me once it was in there yard it could only have parts taken off it but if I wanted to buy it part by part they would sell the whole car and then I could put it back together.

I crushed a few of them along with some b-bods years ago.   :banghead: I know of one on the north side of town that was crushed just last year, also a Road Runner now that I'm thinkin' about it. Both were typical Wisconsin X-teme rust buckets. They may have had a few pieces worth saving but wern't mine to save.  :pullinghair:
70 Chally R/T Convertible- Yes she's really got a HEMI, no she's not a Charger!

1BadFish: BS27100001 - If that VIN is correct, I beleive that would mean that that was the FIRST Barracuda convertible built.

Bordin34: The triple black 71 Challenger that your friend has - I only know of ONE other triple black R/T stripe-delete 71, it's a 383. My friend has it. Never seen another authentic triple balck 71, as many clones as I have seen.

As far as what I rare E-bodies I have seen in the junk yards:
1 H51 factory sunroof car - California
1 JS27 Chally conv. missng all tags, no firewall vin or title, rust free "pieced together" car again, Cali
An authentic U code Baracuda w/verified racing history NFS - a nest egg.

I also know of  a real AWB  Plymouth Satelite is- It is the Virginian. My friend and his father are restoring it. Super slowly

There were some others that I have seen, but none as notable.

Dan

One E body saved, 7 years and counting.

Yup, first e body and a convertible 71 at that, out of Hamtramck, one could have been built out of LA earlier....

I know of a few, don't feel like going through and posting them though.  Just check out the link in my picture.  I know of cars from 70 Hemi Cuda's to 74 /6 Challengers.  Take a look.
