Anyone know who rebuilds wiper motors?
« on: December 24, 2006 - 10:59:08 PM »
We would like to have our AAR Cuda wiper motor rebuilt.  Anyone know who does this?  We have the original wiper motor and want to have it rebuilt to Concours quality.  There used to be a Company that did this but we can't remember who it was.  Thanks

Barry and Plumcrazy,
Thanks for the replies.  We will check them out.  Barry I noticed the one you posted also has the inflator bottles too.  We need one so we will check it out.
Barry,
I have another question for you?  How do you know if your car had the BF Goodrich spare or the Goodyear spare?  We need a space saver spare and wondered how to tell if we need the BF Goodrich or the Goodyear.  Do you know how to tell?  Thanks

Some of the space savers were early to mid year then they changed. For your car you need the B. F. Goodrich F78-14

First parts that I ever bought for my car were from Jules. I got a set of tail lights from him that were incredibly restored.  On top of that he was a great guy to deal with.  Just beware that shipping might be a little slow if you are outside of Canada.

Thanks everyone for the great replies.  I found out that Jules the Wiperman is dealing with cancer right now.  I really feel for him.  I hope he comes through and is able to fight it.  I hate cancer.
I talked to the guy that Barry recommended and will probably try him.  This same guy also sells the blow up canisters for the space saver spare.  We are going to need a space saver spare and canister too.  Thanks Barry for the information on the Goodrich tire.
As far as Concours Creations, I can't seem to find any info for them.  We have bought things from them before and I have not seen any advertisement from them in a while.  Thanks again everyone.

Wiperman is the guy that did my wiper motor on my 70 Cuda and he did a fantastic job. My Challenger's wiper motor was restored by Concours Creations and the plating was very shinny not at all like they came from the factory.
