I'll start the list to avoid "Mitchell Motor Parts" if they're still in business! I bought parts NOS and repro for a Charger project in early 80's, everything was the wrong year, wrong car, or incorrect! Sent most of it back and all they would give me was a certificate for further purchases, no refund    Have never found anything they have I could use. Very bad business!

Start of the 'good' vendor list:

1.First Place Auto Products, for my 71 Cuda, a 1971 go- wing, correct, with all of the hardware & pedestals, and with the eyebrow kit. He supplies YO, Paddock & everybody else, so go direct! (man, I'll miss that watch, 9mm pistol, and small dog I had to pawn to afford it...LOL) :D

2. Summit Racing/ Hooker Headers - Summit for good response & the ever present 10% discount code off Moparts.com, and Hooker, for quality headers. ;D

a list would be good, for me Yearone has been excellent,
PST,magnumforce racing also MP havent had any problems. There seems to be a lot of vendor's i dont know about they all want 5 bucks for a catalog paddock, felwocks, jacksautoparts, jimautoparts I have no clue about these outfits anyone share some experiences? PAW has been good for ordering from specialy items like hookers/hedmans/holly/mallory...etc..
but ive heard horrors stories about some of there engine rebuild kits.

;D  Yes, Year one is good, but high priced for too many items. Its best used for stuff you need NOW!

The value of digging around for the Summit code is a selling point for them, also. As for paddock, their catalogs are FREE !!

Here's more for the list:

1. Mr. G's in Fort worth, for fasteners & plastic rechromed interior stuff.

2. Larry Dennis Company in Ft Worth - buy everything an upholstery shop can, & do it yourself !

3. Painless Wiring is also in Ft Worth....

4. Gene Quick Motorsports - engine builder, carb rebuilder/ cyl. head guru...

Try switchboard.com for phone #s

Good luck, guys  8)

Thank's for the list 71-72 'cudas, I've been away from the hobby for over 20 years and had some bad experiences getting correct parts from supposedly reputable sources. I look at the vendors today and it appears there has been an avalanche of competition for the restorer's dollar. Members like you help everybody by telling which vendor actually do what they say! The members here should learn from the mistakes of others so they don't make the same one. That's what makes this hobby so great is the participation to a queation like this and the responses posted here so we can restore our MOPARS with quality, correct parts!!!!!!!

Year One is good, but I despise that $2 insurance fee that's automatically tagged on - you have to ask specifically not to have it added on.  Generally, I wait for Year One to send out the 10 % off postcards every few months and that makes it very worthwhile.

The Paddock was good for me. I bought my exhaust tips from them. Even though everybody was backordered, they had them up to me in Ontario in about 3.5 weeks. Better priced then Year one and the welding quality was better. I ordered the tips from Northern Mopar and the spot welds were about 1 inch in diameter. I am pretty happy with Paddock
