Ok what does the voltage limiter look like?  This is probably my problem also. Any pics?  Thanks, David

David, follow this link, & check esp #8 forward.  I'm told the electronic components can be had for about $10.

That's a good link. It's at the top of the cluster and is a small rectangular box, I got one from Shucks for about $ 20. if you replace it be sure it's grounded good or a full 12V goes out of it and will fry your gauges. luckily I tested mine before I tried it .

Hey Wade.  Tell you what , your information ranks up there with  with  the best.  I an certain that I would have never gotten as far as I have had it not been for your info.  Thank you so much and I will be asking more. I think this site and the people are great.  I wish there were points that could be awarded to folks that post  good info and things.  They are called reputation points on the other forum I  belong to.  (http://www.nitroforumz.com). Keep up the good work. Thanks, Again.  David

David,

Wade is a good guy for sure!!  :2thumbs: I was just talking to him today about this post. It is REALLY tough to convey what we, or someone else knows to someone else in need. In my mind it isn't so hard, but to someone else, it is rocket science. We all try to help each other. If you were a bit closer to me... road trip.  :burnout: Good luck with your car.

Thanks Mike  I know you said you were 7 hrs away.  That is a drive.  Guess we will just have to do the best we can over the net.  There are a lot of good guys on here (and Gals), who have been thur a lot of car resto.  They have been before us and there will be some after us.  Maybe someday some of our posts will help someone.      :cheers:To everyone on this website who helps others and gets help in return.  Sincerely, David, Rockingham, Nc.

Ditto on that from me,  I've helped lots of folks through the years with thier Javelins and AMX's but I'm a true rookie with mopars. I'd hate to spend time and money to restore something just to find out later I screwed it up. it's great to get on here and get help and advice from some sharp guys who love their cars and are willing to help others do the best they can .

Does your car have/or had and overhead console?  Voltage regulator for fuel gauge is separate if so.

Hey PC.  As far as my car , yes there will be an overhead console, I haven't  even got close to putting that in yet. Guess that will be another issue.  David

You solved it, yes it's an RT/SE with the console.
