I can't believe us humans have the right to say someone deserves to die. Yes the prisons are full of people that deserve it, so to speak, but I only hope I'm not on that jury.  Sorry... I seem like a wuss. Death bothers me.

Anyone think it's ironic that we fight to give them freedom and with our sytem he would be alive for 10 years..... not 10 days.

Odly enough they hanged him because he hanged other people.... this is confusing.... how is it right to do the same thing to someone that you tell them is wrong.  I'm with you Mike, it really bothers me that people feel this is right, besides, it's kind of like he's been spared "punishment".

You may be in the minority, but you're certainly not alone. As a Christian, I try to adhere to the 10 Commandments, but some translations read "Thou shall not kill" while others read "Thou shall not murder".  Big difference. Which is the original translation?  I don't know. Putting Saddam to death is certainly killing, but since he most assuredly wasn't innocent, doing so isn't murder. I do know that the world is a better place without him in it.
