Okay, I've researched a little more on this and think that I may have something. While reading my mopar performance book, it says that the pistol grip shifter handles that were reproduced work with hurst competition plus shifter part number 391-6769, and shifter installation kit number 373-4089. After searching through hurst's online catalog, summit and jegs websites, I could not find this part number shifter. However, I did find a dodge/plymouth application shifter part number 391-6789. Was the part number 391-6769 a misprint in the mopar catalog? I have a hurst competition plus shifter in my Camaro and I really like it so I would like to go the same way with the 'Cuda, but I want the pistol grip handle too. Does this combination of parts sound like they should work for my car?
