Oops...
« on: December 31, 2006 - 09:27:45 AM »
I'm playing with my new digital camera  :picture:..

This is a bearing from a 440 of a customer. "It runs decent, has good power, but I want it checked and freshened. The last owner said they had issues with keeping a good trans (727) in the car." SO I looked. The block and caps have minor damage, the crank has thrust damage that needs welding, and the bearings and pistons all have marks from iron particle contamination. All that is the result of running something after things wouldnt go together easy. Again, this engine ran well and hard...
His new 505" is coming along nicely now :woo:.
