How Are Emblems Held On

My car was striped of all emblems what kind of nut held them on?

fender emblems were attached with 2 sided tape
 hood ones used & spring nut that was on the emblem post which pops into the hole & locks into place
grille &   hood letters use staped steel Palnuts
 the trunk used tape

Would the be for the engine call outs? If so what does that look like?

I have holes in my fender for the Challenger emblems

I think the fender-mounted "Challenger" emblems on 70s were pinned on...

I know that the early 70's were pinned....I have fenders that show the factory installed holes....

They are. They have three holes and are held on by the same nuts that hold on the other emblems.

Tried to get you some pics. These are off the callouts from my '73 Challey. 1/4" long but something longer would work. I believe I have spied something like this at the local Ace Hardware & will try to check for sure 1st chance.

timing is everything
