What size throttle cable?
« on: January 02, 2007 - 01:28:03 PM »
Can someone tell me what length throttle cable I should buy for my 73 Cuda? The car was orginally a 340 but will be a 426 when completed. I think that the two sizes are 17" and 21"

get the long one , if it is too long it will curl , too short is tough to stretch though  :banghead:

Thanks Chryco that makes good sense to me. I will get the long one just wish I had something to attach it to in the near future but I guess these things take time.

I know from watching E-Bay, the big-block and small-block cables are different lenght. I just don't now which is longer.  :clueless: Sorry.  :walkaway:

From what I can gather....Small block is 23", Big block is 21" and Hemi is 17". Not sure why Hemi would be different from BB?? I will likely get the 21" and like Chryco said they are hard to strech
