Where does the heater cable come through the firewall on a 70 Cuda?
« on: September 04, 2003 - 11:42:26 PM »
OK, this is ridiculous...I have a 70 383 Cuda with PB, AC, AT that I'm putting back together after a rot. restoration.  So, I have the speedo cable plugged in, the foot operated washer pump, the oval plug where the manual trans linkage would have gone through, the road lamp wire by the bulkhead, the emergency brake cable, and now I'm out of holes besides the insulation nails.  What am I missing, does anybody have a picture to share?  Proper routing after it comes out of the firewall would also be helpful but first I have to get it punched through...  If you look at the cable on Year One, it says you it comes out by the master cylinder but I sure don't see any holes left there.

I'm guessing someone is going to say it should go through the road lamp hole but I took a burned green wire out of that hole and it is a Cuda and all '70s came with them and it had the rest of the harness inside too so this won't be the case.

The cable I'm talking about goes from the heater control valve that's on the left inner fender well to the temperature control inside the car.
