Welcome aboard Dave!

You do realize though that I now have two sites where I can pick on you when you get grumpy?

All kidding aside, it is good to see you here.

Thought I would post a few pictures for those masses on here that are not familiar with my car.

Too many mods to list but as far as the engine is concerned I have fitted a manual secondary (six pack to go) six pack system, a pair of 906 heads with Hughes Engines Stage One porting and Hughes cam. It makes good power.
Don'y pay attention to the gold paint on the carbs. They are going to get polished. Stainless bolts will be added to the engine as well.

What do you want to know? :)

Tyre sizes are 245/60/15 front and 295/50/15 rear (the aspect ratios keep the tyres about the same height). Rear springs are on offset E-body and A-body hangers (for use with stock length springs).

The lights are UK spec. Front lights have built in "side lights" for UK regs. If you look at the rear lights closely you will see the reflectors look slightly pale? That is because they flash amber as turn signals for UK specs too.

When back on the road again I am expecting it to run 11.8 or a little better on the quarter mile. However the suspension is set up for cornering and not drag racing. Otherwise it would probably go a little faster again. Top speed @ 6500rpm is about 140mph with the street tyres and 150mph on the slicks (all on matching 10 x 15 Ralley wheels).

I try hard to keep the car looking as stock as possible (with the hood closed) so the interior only has a race shifter and some extra gauges in the dash. I made the 3" exhaust system which I have given to a friend so I need a new one. Probably get one made by someone in stainless next time. I don't have a TIG welder.

Other than that I usually do all of my own work except engine machining and paint.

Sorry about the lack of replies to this post.

Since my last post I have been seriously ill with Encephalitis. So for now I have been limiting my computer time mainly to my own message board.

I am slowly getting better but even then things may not allow me to spend much time here because, with the illness and other things, I am now 4 months behind getting my Challenger back on the road!

Because my illness limits the time I can work on anything I have to use that time in the garage.

But I will be back one day to stick my  :2cents: in. :naughty:
