Good question Keith, most think black is one colour. lol
I know when I go to shows or see two black cars together, both being "black", you can definitely tell which one is the pure black car & which one looks more "grey".
To help in your question, I'm not sure if you'll be able to tell the difference between a Mopar shade vs a non-Mopar shade (in black). Being black, most, if not all people would only be able to tell which shade is lighter. Sublime & plum crazy cars etc are easier to tell if they have gone up a tone/shade but black? Be hard to tell. If I were you, I'd just go for the
deepest darkest black on the market and show up the other cars at shows. Black is black & black is bad and if you're going for that bad a$ look, then do it right.
Pretty much they same for my Challenger, Lucy, I wanted White but not Mopar white as it appears more creamy in person and screen. So, I went with Bright White, one of the brightest on the market, glad I did too.
