I would have gone with the 1.0s or better. You'd be surprised how these cars respond with some real spring rates. If you plan to take the plunge into modern rubber, you'll see what I mean. Ride quality is mostly dictated by the quality level of the shocks. This is the key to our kits. A properly matched shock is what makes the difference. Put KYBs on for instance, and you will need dental work....

Well I do plan on running 17" wheels w/ 245/45 tires on the front but I don't want it to ride like the proverbial log wagon either. If your using the 1.0 torsion bar how do you determine the proper shock? Firmer or softer?

Nice my ars  :woohoo: , It'd have to be a Hemi Cuda t-shirt to be worth that & I'm sure it would a been one of their dealership logo giveaway junkers.   Anyway the last order still has not shipped but I did receive a timely BacKOrder notice that indicated that it should be shipping about now. Back at thier webpage the price has jumped from $155. to $199.. Soooo right now the best confirmed price I see is Monacatti $177.+$10.S&H.

Bullitt99:
Based on your information, I went to Monicatti Chrysler last night (it is only a few miles from me).  Yes - The price is now $177.65, whether ordered through their website or over the counter.  I bought a set, since that price was still better than most other places.
In my experience, the guys at Monicatti's parts counter are usually pretty helpful and professional - Sorry that you had a bad experience.  (They also did not know why the price is suddenly going up everywhere)   :dunno:

BTW - They also had a good deal on the leaf springs there.  $88.40 for the production style.  Granted, they say 'Made in Mexico' right on them, but they are the Mopar part.

Good luck, and I hope you get yours bought before they get any more expensive!!!   :o

Thanks Tom, I have no beef with Monicatti, it was just a timing issue but Just my luck.  :banghead:
As for the MP leaf springs the consensus has been to stay away as they tend to sag pretty quickly. Before you spend your money you might want to search here for threads on the subject.

I received a tracking number for my order yesterday (the one I placed on the 8th). I really dont know what is going on because they sent me the total and it is less then what it should be, so they either sold me the bars for the old price, cheaper then what they advertised, or there is something wrong with my order. I'll find out Monday when the package is scheduled to be delivered.

Is it possible to have the torsion bar off a notch?  one side of my car is almost out of threads on the adjustment bolt and the other is about half way.  one is off a notch or my torsion bars are shot, do they sag that bad? I'm guessing I need a set so have you guys decided where the best place to get them is?

I think monicatti is still the best place to get them because they are cheap on shipping. I just received my order today and am very pleased. Beside Monicatti being one of the cheaper places, they had a couple things I needed in stock and cheaper then Summit or Mancini.

Recieved my order from http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?action=manufacturers&count=25&manufac_catid=741&manufac_id=106 with no problems they honored the price of $156 + 12.95shipping but they have raised the price of my item now to $199. Note that the P5249157 .92" & P5249161 1.16"  set is still at $156.
Overall http://www.monicattichrysler.com/comersus/store/comersus_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=224 has the best pricing with P5249154 1.09" & P5249162 1.22" sets at $135.15 + $10.shipping and most sets at $177.65

I am begining to wonder if I have a problem with one of my bars...the front fender looks like it is almost on top of the tire....

any of you guys getting rid of a driver side bar that would fit a 72
(small block set-up) let me know...I am hoping to check the bar this evening and see if I can find any damage....

notice the ride height in the pic (granted the car is on a bit of a cross slope, and the rear air shocks are not helping...
