After taking my 77 year old father on a "Hold on to somethin" seat of yer pants ride in my Canary yellow '68 Barracuda, He affectionately named it: "The Screamin' Yellow Zonker" and thus the name has stuck!! It's kinda worn on me and gives me a chuckle everytime I hear him say it because I know I scared the crap out of my old man and should have been ashamed of myself :scared: It sure was fun seeing the look on his face. It also reminds me of a picture in the "Burnout" section of one of the C.C. fellas doing a burnout with his seventy-something year old MOM in the car!! LOL!!

I think my screen name says it all...(used to be Street_Charged69 for my Charger, but I wanted to keep it along the same lines for the Challenger.)  Now it seems to be the curse of the name as it hasn't been close to being put back on the streets yet. :hyper:

My wife has named it "Precious" after the name the Gollum uses for the ring from Lord of the Rings movie. "My Preccccious" Guess because it has me possessed and controls my every move. It may even make me dissapear sometime!! LOL

Our 1971 Blown Triple Black Hemi Barracuda is called "Blofish" and our 1971 Panther Pink Hemi Barracuda is "Pink Ice".  When we used to show our 1971 440-6bbl Curious Yellow Cuda at the World of Wheels car shows years ago we put a sign on the display that said "Cuda Been Yours" we always got a lot of compliments on that saying.

Good stories and project names guys. Our first two where just called by the cars color, ie: Topbanana project and white satin project. The last one the R/R clone which gave us fits finding some parts we (I) quickly started calling it the "Street B!tch" project. And the two remaining will probably be something like the "Land Yacht" (69 Polara 500 vert.) and the lil Dart we just brought home yesterday...................?  :dunno: Haven't given it much thought, but I'm goin have a ball with her though  :roflsmiley:
1969 Polara 500 vert.
1970 Charger 500
1971 Dart Swinger
