thank you Chryco,so can i use the flywheel from the 833OD and tranny from the truck mated to a 383?If so which bell do i use, seems to me i remember it being somewhere in between 130 and 143 teeth.Or should i just use the bell/flywheel for the 69 bee and mate the 833OD to that?Is the lever position the same as the E body swap for the 833OD?I have the bell from the truck but its a small block bell.
thanks for the help

What about the 360?  Does it take a different one since it is externally balanced?

you need to have the Alum Balhousing to use the 130 tooth flywheel , Brewers has new ones for $299
if youy already have a cast iron bel you need the 143 tooth flywheel & a different larger style clutch
the 360 flywheel uses the same flywheel casting But it is balancd for the 360 , Mopar still sells these

both used 11" clutches & were used with the 833 trans , the 130 tooth uses a 10.95" scalloped style clutch

Moparnut,  Here we go again with the 833 OD?   I have a Cast bell that also came with a 130 tooth flywheel on a big block so not all cast iron ones used 143 toothed flywheels.  Have you counted the teeth on yours yet? Also, my cast housing has the smaller 4.35" hole and can't be enlarged fot the new 4.8" 833 turned down bearing retainer.   start counting teeth.

Its ground hog day,Rob,lol
Yes i am but with a different car since i got rid of the 73 chally for a 69 super bee.In the resto process(yes the 70 GC is still being done,so i am slowly doing 2 at the same time and they are both the same color EF8 so i can use left over paint for the Bee).I am leaning more to finding a aluminum bell to turn down for the OD for the Bee since i already have several 130 tooth flywheels and a brand new centerforce 10.5 clutch. Will the 10.5 clutch be adequate compared to the 11"?Once again i am baging the numbers stuff in the resto and puting in transplants so i dont destroy original equipment. Is the lever change in the B body the same as an E?
thanks buddy
