Awesome stuff Oldschool.  :woo: :2thumbs:

When ever, and in future, if guys say something, I say zip, nadda, zero. Just floor it. Was quite surprised you even wasted your breath telling them about how your car would eat things meaner than theirs etc.  :P

Oh well, at least you proved your point with the go pedal.  :clapping:

It just show how clueless those guys were if they thought your car was all mufflers. Anybody who has been around high horsepower engines at all can clearly tell the difference between the sound a stock engine with loud mufflers and the sound of a built engine. Especially a Hemi. Unbelievable.

A FEW YEARS back, i had a fox bodied mustang, 302 aluminum heads, trickflow non ported , mild ford motor sport cam and a procharger blower, 14 psi boost . and 373 gears, the car weighed about 3300 lbs. it it was running in the high 10s at 128+ mph, He prpbably  had a stock engine with the power adder, but most mustangers dont leave there engines stock, was he spinnin on take off?  I know these cars DO NOT hook up on the street, even with slicks, looking at your car u have all the traction in the world! but anyway, good kill!!!!

Love the story.  :smilielol:
Especially the arrogance being put to shame.  :swear: In my day if you saw '440' on the hood, and wanted a race with that car, you knew you had some serious competition and better not spout off too loud cause ya may have to eat a little crow!! By the way, I'm stupid. What's a 'Fox Body'???

My cousin loves those types.  Thats all he owns.  You might as well call them box bodies, they look like one rolling down the road.

Dont get me wrong, I do respect american muscle though

Did you notice any SVO badges on the Mustang, Oldschool?  They were factory built 4 cylinder Fox's with turbos.  Pretty quick, for an 80s car.  I'd love to get my hands on an SVO Fox body.
