Motor, trans, front suspension reunited with car...rear end cleaned, rebuilt, and reinstalled. The two tags were still on it all these years
I knew Jerry would be the right person to have this car and it's turning out that i was right.
If anyone is into numbers and special partson these cars, yes that is a Hemi radiator part number and brake booster bracket. The original owner relayed the story to me (during the short time I owned it) that he'd gone into the local dealership here in Montgomery to order a 67 Coronet R/T with a Hemi and air. The salesman takes the order, the car begins to be built with the Hemi booster, radiator, springs, brakes, etc., and when the motor is to be installed it's time to tell the buyer that A/C does not come on a Hemi. So a 440 is installed. Both Jerry and I agree that Dr.Pugh signing a statement stating how he ordered the car would help authenticate hoe so many Hemi specific items wound up on an R/T 440
