1971 Challenger R/T
« on: January 07, 2007 - 04:44:19 PM »
I've decided to put my 71 R/T up for sale here first before going the ebay route.
To give a little back ground on the car it is a numbers matching car with Power windows ,air ,AM/FM console cassette, cloth seats/buckets 383 , auto 323 open.
The car is a Y-28 coded car and I have three build sheets for the car and the fender tag.
The car needs nothing to be ready to drive. All of the drive-line has been rebuilt to stock. Everything has been restored or replaced so it is virtually a new car.
I would feel safe driving this car any distance.
The car has had the quarters replaced with the new Goodmark full panels as well as one of the trunk extensions. The trunk floor is the original as is the  interior panels and seat covers.
The complete underside is painted body color.
It needs the dash ac/map light panel replaced.
The car was in a accident some time early in its time and had the  top rad support replaced(number is gone), the cowl was never stamped on this car and I have pictures to prove this.
The dash pad is in nice condition except for some small cracks from the speaker area. A new dash pad comes with the car.
Everything works with the exception of the A/C which needs a line replaced.
Price is $40,000.00 TRADES POSSIBLE

I CAN BE REACHED AT  8:00AM TO 5:00 PM 724-253-3914 leave message if after hours.

I'm still the high bidder. Where are the bidders? Maybe Barrett Jackson will help create some interest, because the market seems to really be cooling off. Which is fine with me because I'm not looking to sell any of my cars any time soon.

It looks as though I may be keeping it, as there are only two bidders and one just signed up and has no feedback :banghead:.
I guess because it's f7 green it is not as popular to most people.
I have had zero calls or e-mail questions :bricks1:
If it won't sell I'll drive the wheels off it :2thumbs:

Man, she's beautiful  Any 71 e-body with the right cloth and vinyl interior is rare enough - let alone in green
