DEEEEP subject here.

I have no children to pass my car onto. My siblings wouldn't know how to drive it.  :grinno:

If anyone wants my car, now would be a GOOD time to suck up.  :grinyes:

All I can say is my wife and son will live a very propherous life if they don't squander it all. 25 yrs of being a Mopar packrat and a 60 X 80 (and then some)building to stash it all in. I have cars in storage I've forgotten about ( so the storage people tell me when asked how soon I'll be removing said car).
I have as disease...Mopar-buy-it-itis! Very addictive! :2thumbs:

I really need to start attending those Mopar Annonomous Meetings. :faint:
Cant kill the mean and ugly. Only the good die young...I plan to be here a while!!

We just did the wills before I left for OIF. If the two of us were to leave my daughter alone on earth everything is to be sold and my sister becomes the gaurdian and little Em will get what is left over from raising her at 21.
I told my wife that if I buy the farm while deployed, to have my buddy Ray finish the cuda for her and sell it. Ray is a Vietnam vet who has taken care of us when we needed some support and has restored several beautiful Mopars and bought my old R/T shell. The life insurance will cover the rest of the build and it should make a return profit for her.
The possibility of biting the bullet is very real for me and I wish I would have written what exactly I wanted to do to the cuda down on paper, but it's all in my head. Perhaps I'll scribble some notes later even though I don't plan on dying, at least until I see my daughter find a man to take car of her and not need Dad anymore.

Yes it would.  :grinyes: Heck, they have even met last year at Carlisle.

Seriously, this is a topic I haven't thought about, but my original statement stays. I have no children, and my siblings wouldn't know what to do with my car.  :clueless: Who wants it??  :dunno:

Hey Mike,
Hopefully the time does not come for a  v e r y  l  o  n  g while.

With any luck I should have the Hamtramck Museum set up way before then. You could donate your car as a display piece. Your shoe collection would HAVE to be on display with the car though. Your Mopar colectibles would be a sweet addition too.  You could even haunt the museum, I have nothing against friendly ghosts.

Long live MEK!

Well, no kids to pass the cars on to, but I figure my buddy who has restored these cars ought to benefit. My Challenger goes to him, then his 16 year old daughter if he's no longer around. My '71 Charger goes to his 18 year old son, which will work out good, 'cause he loves that car anyway. I've planned it this way 'cause I know these cars will go to a good home, to people who will drive them and enjoy them. Last thing I want to do is have these cars go to someone who would just turn around and sell them.

My wife has already informed me she's  buying me in Miss NIKKI.  I'm not sure if I feel good or bad about this. But I have no worthy relative to pass it onto. Nor a young ,hot girlfriend...........  :naughty:

Thanks for the replies guys. Like always, I read everyone......good to see 90% of you have it sorted out.
Someone said it right, we're never really the owners of these cars, just the minders.

Hey Keith, if you give your cars away while you're still here what will you have?
By the tone I could gather sounded like it maybe in the near future?

Thanks everyone......good reading.

I've never really thought about this subject too hard since I've just turned 21, but I'd have to say if I end up not having a child or children of my own, I'd follow-up with how well my nephew respects these cars to see if he'd be worthy of the inheritance.  If not, there's still my niece who may end up liking cars or exhibit the proper respect I'd expect my car to receive when I'm gone.  If all these possible options fail, I'd probably look into a museum because it'd be nice to preserve as many of these cars as possible and I know it'd be well cared for in one.
