Mike, the colors of the walls in your photos are distressing me.

Mine will be left to my kids benefit, whether kept to remember old dad or help financially.

Seriously, this is a topic I haven't thought about, but my original statement stays. I have no children, and my siblings wouldn't know what to do with my car.  :clueless: Who wants it??  :dunno:

  Mike

Mike,
I think anyone would be honored to have your car, but I agree, the smart thing might be to donate it to Alaskan_TA's  Hamtramck Museum.  It would be a good car to show how to customize a car (the way you want it without destroying it).

When we went for vacation a couple of years ago we had to make a new will. We decided that we would give each turns in claiming certain cars. This was also set up for the collection of antique japanese samuari swords that I have collected for the last twenty years. The cars are already set up legally to be theirs so they don't have to pay the gift tax. In my case I'm worth more dead than alive for the kids. Between the insurance and collections they will be very well off. I think I'd better start watching my back while I'm under a car working on it. Kids might be getting ideas. :money:

Well, put that question to a test a couple years ago. It was between my son and daughter for the Chally. So , I sat them both down and asked them one question. What would you do with the Challenger if I left it to you? Chris answered 1st since he's the oldest. He said he would Foose it. Shelby said she wouldn't change 1 thing about it. She loved it just the way it was. So, Shelby is getting the Chally.

It's a touchy subject around here.  While I lay in a coma this summer the subject was brought up with my wife, mother, sister and brother.  My wife was quick to mention my buddy who is a flipper that she could sell them to "tomorrow".  Gee thanks, wifey.  :banghead:

I presently have a living will I need to finish.  In Washington state, if you don't have something, the state takes it all and disperses everything IIRC.  My Chally will be sold to help and I'm hoping to keep the Charger in the family by willing it to my mom and in turn my daughter.

It's never too soon folks to think about this stuff.  :-\

I have to be honest. I was shooting for a Plumb-crazy like color. It looked good in that 1" square from Home Depot, but in reality... you see what happened.   :faint:

I had my girlfreind promise me that she would sell it and buy herself a comparable (put your fingers in your ears) a 1968 RS/SS Camaro. That has always been her favorite, but she isn't the type to go out and spend that kind of money on herself.

I'm not sure what you have but,...IMO she should be able to buy several X brand cars and still have cash to boot.

I think it is a great idea. We could take "you" to Carlisle every year that way so you do not miss the show after you are gone.
