Fender Mounted Turn Signals

I have a nearly perfect pair of correct (for '70) Chrome Fender Mount Turn Signal Indicators that I would like to install on my '70 Challenger R/T but have some mixed feelings because I have read other places that this type indicator was not available on the R/T model because of sundry numbers of reasons. Anybody got an opinion on this? If I would decide to install them does anyone have the location dimensions? I tried to understand the measuring tape picture in a previous post but could not figure out exactly where the tape was hooked for the reference. I tried to download the other information that was made available but I am at work and got a "File type Restricted" pop-up. So I am still a little lost. Just want to make sure when I drill those original '70 fenders that I am in the correct  place. Thanks.

Holes are different between the B and J's.  R/t did not have them because you could not see the right side one over the hood.

My 70 Challenger has them(light package). Here are a few pics that might help, although they were for the hood pins. My chrome was painted body color on the indicators. I don't believe this was an option on R/T cars, but it is Sooo Mopar. I love them!!

PlumCrazy is right, it is also the same with thing with the T/As.

You could get the A01 package on R/Ts and T/As, but the fender mount turn signals were not included on cars with the dual scoop or T/A hood.
