S6 OEM parts? what to do with them?
« on: January 08, 2007 - 05:54:30 PM »
Originally, my 70 came with: drum brakes, S6, 904, 7.25, console, buckets, no AC, no other options....el'cheepo.  B5 with black bucket interior....got lucky there!

It will be getting:  F&R Sway bars, 8.75 (3.23 SG), '69 440, 727.  What would you do with all the original take off parts?
I'm getting short of room....AND...I don't think I'll ever go back to a 225 in her......but they are the "numbers" parts.... :violin:

IF those are all original, then people will tell you to keep them, "just in case". The question is, do you have the room? I guess not from your post.   :pullinghair: Gosh, there are SOO few cars that are numbers matching, but if you don't have the room, go for the Big-Block transplant, and have fun.   :burnout:

I'd say store them...Who knows, maybe a Slant six car will be worth big bucks thirty years from now. :dunno:
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)
1990 Toyota Celica GT Liftback...........The new daily & winter driver.
All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.
