My  ...............The ONLY time to sell a car is when you WANT to, or HAVE to. Being "backed" into a corner with an offer is not a good situation. No way should you feel guilty for anything in this situation. Besides, with todays prices $10K is not that much for your car. ie: a $5K car may require 6-8 in labor,sheet metal and paint. I'd say 10 grand for yours would be a deal, but not for you. Again.............just my

I think the real main point here, is that you shouldn't feel obligated, or guilty, if a friend makes you an offer for a car, out of the blue. Especially if you weren't thinking about selling it, don't particularly want to sell it, and the offer may not be for what it's worth.

I agree.... with everyone else...selling to a friend can be good or bad...if i were you..i'd keep it....or...if you do decide to sell you could sell it and t hen buy the other chally you were talking about and fix it....or fix your cudas..but i'd hold on to it.....and i bet the only reason he wants that one is because it was his first real Muscle car ride and he'll remember it forever and just wants to hold on to that memory..jeryst. that was a bad deal...and you can't predict the future...i'm sorry about the loss....you have no control over any of it..and hind sight is 20\20...

  This is how I got my Challenger at age 17 and it was still a blast to drive.

I agree with everyone here saying not to sell to a friend.  Especially if the car is for your friend's child.  Best of luck to you with whatever you decide to do.

yeah guys, I am going to keep it.  I didn't have it forsale anyways. It's a fun car to beat on while I'm building the barracuda. Traffic is terrible here in southern Louisiana. I'll be glad to get home. Very long days here getting this job done. I took one 30 minute break toay and I finished the worst of this job in 12hrs. It gets nothing but better from here on out.
