Ball joint socket
« on: January 08, 2007 - 10:58:15 PM »
I bought a front end kit for my 70 Challenger but I see year one has sockets and other tools for the ball joints, I have about every regular socket and tool known to man so do I need any of these special tools? I want to have everything I need before I start this project.

You will need the special socket to do it yourself.

This reminds me, my brother borrowed mine a couple years ago and has not given it back yet.......  :walkaway:

I was afraid of that, anyone know the size ? there seems to be at least two different ones.

the small one is A body , the largest one is trucks & C body , you need the middle one
Try American Muscle , they have a whole set of tools specifically for Mopar front end work , Page 49 in Jan MCG , www.americanmuscle.biz
