What is fender tag code V6F?

The V6H stripe cars are unusual. I do not have any idea how many were made, but for Hamtramck I only know of 11 cars so far coded for that stripe.

Did you mean V6F?  There are 2 out of 476 of the V6F stripes.

well how about that , its 10000ml from its orig birthplace and it appears to be fairly rare! looks like a color change will have to occur now :woohoo:ideas on what you guys reckon its worth in us dollars ?? not original motor /trans , u code 440/slapstick. virtually no rust , does need a respray now , very good driving car.

It's just something Barry is hung up on.        No, out West would be the L.A. plant. I believe Hamtramck is in Michigan.

I think my runners were both Lynch cars... thats the only reason I heard of it.  Hamtrack where they made ta/aars?

Yep, AARs and T/As were from Hamtramck only, all the E-Body convertibles and E-Body Hemi cars as well.

Some 1970 E-Bodies were made at the LA plant, but starting with the 1971 model year all E-Bodies were produced at Hamtramck.

Could be they made a group or run of these cars with that particular colored stripe. They often did that.
