Problem is 72-4 Challengers don't look the same in any given color as other years or models. I have a'73 & maybe I'm over critcal but most of the more popular Mopar colors just don't work for me on the Frowning Challey. I'm lookin to go with a non original dark silver/gunmetal.
I totally agree with you, but the 72-74 colours are aweful. We have a 74 Rallye and it's going to be Sublime or Panther Pink with a black interior (it's my wife's car, she gets to decide). Our car was originally red on white. A nice combo, just doesn't work for us.
I agree as stated, go triple black. They look tough, it's an 'original' colour for the year, and for resale it's the way to go. You can always sell a black car easily. Do the orange or the black, that's my 2 cents.
Or be radical and go Plum Crazy. Nobody has ever seen a purple Challenger....
