It was on the BBC news in the UK this morning. I was very pleased to see that. It is so nice to wake up to good news like this.

Over here we had a little 6 year old girl taken from her bath in Christmas 2005 just a couple of miles from me. Her mother had just left the room for a minute but the guy had been watching out in the yard (ground floor apartment) and took the chance to take her.

Thankfully he didn't kill her. But he did assault/rape her as he drove her around. He dumped her naked in the snow in a back street and a guy living there heard her crying, saw the blood on her legs, and took her in.

She was a very brave little girl was was not only able to describe the man very well but also the route he drove around.

The guy had one previous offence and has gone to prison until he is a very old man.

Thank God! This has made my day. There is no greater crime than hurting a child and I hope this guy gets what is comming to him.

That is wonderful news that the boys were found and the thing (I refuse to call anyone that does this sort of thing Man or Woman) responsable was caught!  I have one child in day care and the other in elementary school, and this sort thing is my biggest fear of all.  One small consulation (very small given the severity of the situation) is way the prison society deals with these kinds of animals.

Absolutely fabulous, and in such quick time for Ben, good job by some alert police. Now lets see how "it" likes it when he gets abducted from his cell! You know, when my kids were both very young we asked them, "what would you do if a nice man came up to you and asked for your help to find his lost puppy?". We were stunned when they said they'd help out; these kinds of criminals could be very tricky and bold.

So glad he was found and the other boy, finally.  Have to wonder what would have happened if the pervert was given the death penalty the first time he was convicted ?

I just wonder if there are any other kids he is responsible for that we don't know about, there is a  girl that has been missing for a while too.
