Superbird in a pool
« on: January 13, 2007 - 06:45:26 PM »
CAR GOES FOR A SWIM--When this car was driven into a 35-foot Pompano Beach swimming pool late last night, it apparently needed a bath. Proprietor of the estate, Mrs. George E. Thomas, said it really dirtied things up causing about $500 damage to the pool and even more damage to the automobile. The pool was filled with sludge and concrete broken at her home at 2840 NE 19th St. where the car driven by Scott James Carter, of 2971 NE 18th Street, rammed through a hedge and plunged into the pool.
