Possible build sheet locations?
« on: January 16, 2007 - 11:57:27 AM »
I'm thinking its gone, but dont want to give up yet... LA built car if that matters.  Just looking for ideas on where else I can look, cars now a shell.  Checked the dash, underseats, etc...  Could it be in the seat backs?

I have an L.A. built car. No build sheet to be found. I understand that was normal for L.A. cars. I guess they were lazy out there.

Are you the original owner?  If not do you think a previous owner might have it?

Maybe check Barry and C O D Y for lost build sheets?  :dunno:

If you have not done so yet, look inside both front seat backs.

Best of luck!

Hey Joe, I never asked you for the info from this car so next time your on line shoot me the vin number and I will check and see what I have on file as well. I might have a SIAC application or other paperwork as well. As much as we have talked about the car I cant beleive we never checked my records.  :-\
Dont forget to register your AAR at the AAR Registry only at www.transamcuda.com 1981 AAR's on file. Also info on 70 thru 74 E-Bodies. Ask me about yours!!

I have an  L.A. car as well and no sheets. I think that when i first joined this site it was determined that the L.A. Plant didnt use build sheets all that often (those bas*ards)

LA did use broadcast sheets, but for some reason the plant employees removed most of them from the cars before they left the assembly plant.  :screwy:
