Looks like some interesting cars but the fees for BJ's are way out there!  Never use to cost that much!   :grinno:
I think they make about 15% on every car (7% buyers fee and 8% sellers) plus $350 ea to get in.  These might be last years numbers.

I thought that it was amazing what the Super Bee went for, just on all of the fanfare that it has received. Car on Discovery Channel -Add 20K, on the cover of multiple magazines add 20K. In reference to the BJ expense - If they keep coming and paying then I would keep raising it. It is the #1 auction today. I can't beleive the range of other stuff that they auctioning off now.

These prices are crazy!

In my opinion, it's good and bad.  It's good because it drives up the values of our cars but bad if you want to buy a car or any parts.

I was on ebay trying to get a set of rear seat belts for my car and saw a complete set go for over $750.  There's a set there now going for $660 with over 4 days to go.  :faint:  Sorry, just whining!  :blah:  :blah:

I saw those seat belts, they were 825.00. They had to be the ultra rare 1 of 10 Hemi Seat Belts though.

From the initial numbers it looks like we are going to continue hearing the insane crap offers for our cars - "I'll trade you my wife, first born child", etc.

A '71 Roadrunner 440+6 4 speed Curious Yellow only got $60-70k, while a Hemi '71 RR came up about 1 hour later, got $210K!

Gotta feel bad for the seller, buyer stole that one....

One lot is a 69 Charger Daytona and 70 Superbird sold as a pair. I wonder how high those will go for. The worst part of watching is you dont get a really good look at the car or the codes before its sold and driven away..Its like being at a local cruise with my kids

I have NEVER seen so many commercials in my life!    :swear:     I got frustrated and just started watching something else....    :pullinghair:   If they want to keep my interest next year, they need to fix the commercial situation-----WAY TOO MANY!!      :faint:

Sorry for the rant.....      :cooldancing:

Did it seem like every time an E-body (and other mopars) was about to come up next this would be when they went to a commercial break.  They did this at least a dozen times so far. They are really starting to piss me off. I have been trying to see what the 71 cudas are doing and they skipped over at least 3 or 4 of them.  Oh well I feel better now.
