Best manifold for EFI
« on: January 18, 2007 - 06:47:36 AM »
Does anyone have an idea of which manifold would be best to modify for a small block 340 with stock heads? Right now i'm thinking either the Weiand WND-7545 or the Mopar DCC-4876334.

if it is a dry intake so it only moves air & you are putting the injectors into the ports then use the biggest intake you find
if it going to be a wet intake with a throttle body intake you need to use an intake for the application that would be the saem as if you were running a carb

Thanks Chryco. IT's going to be dry with injectors in each port.

I emailed Edelbrock about the manifold that comes with the EFI kit. They will be selling the manifold and fuel rails separately. It'll be a new product for 2007.

I'm still waiting on an answer for when it will be available.

It’s new item for 07’ PN # 28155. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/misc/company/pdf/efi.pdf

Well i think this is the manifold out of their efi kit, they've just decided to break open the set. Well.. we'll see. Depending on price, it may be cheaper than having a mopar manifold converted to efi.
