The first one definitely is worth more. I don't imagine there were many 71 verts. Plus #'s matching, big block. You can't beat that. Got any pictures?

The convertible is the best investment.  If the market slows down cars will once again be valued by the way they came from the factory.  A big block vert will be worth more than a 318 car with fancy parts.  That is to say if you can afford either car.  I do see the clone is $10,000 cheaper.  I always recommend to purchase the most valuable non-clone car you can afford.  That way you will be able to better weather the ups and downs in the collector car market.  You may feel you are not worried about that because you just want a car. The thing is you never know what will happen in life.  I had to sell off some my cars at one time to save my house.  I was glad at the time they weren't 318 cars. They sold sooner and for more money.  Good luck with your decision.

I don't think anyone noticed that the first time.  I took it as a vinyl top car.  I still say convertible.  LOL.  I would go with the factory big block car for the reasons I stated in my last post.

OK, I have to correct my first  :2cents: worth, didn't realize they're both verts - the numbers matching big block even if it's more money.

Is the 383 car an "N" code or "L"?  If it's an "L" code it's more of a toss up
