    '71 Challenger for 5k?

    Went out today to look at a '71 Challenger 318 Auto, A/C , the car does have a fender tag on it and is pretty much all original. 1/4's where put on a few years back but it does need a trunk floor and front floor section. The firewall has a little rust thru near the brake booster and also the normal rust for a E-body. Yes the car is GREEN w/Green interior , my favorite :lol:.. leather roof car , power steering , power brakes, am radio, floor console and has a ralley hood but should be a flat one. Car looks like it has everything there. Just needs to be completely done over. Guy is asking $5,000.00 , maybe I could get him down a nickel or so? What did you guys think. Would make a nice long term project for me. attached are two photos......Thanks vinb......

    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

    That sounds like a heck of a good price. If it were me, it'd be in my garage already - that is, if I could find the room. Regardless, go for it!

    Even the vinyl top doesn't seem to have any bubbles under it. A good sign  :thumbsup:

    I'd jump all over it, 5k is nothing. Buy it today, and if you have second thoughts you could sell it tommorrow for a nice profit. Let us know what you decided.
