I have called a couple of local autobody shops.  I found one that sells the SEM paint dye, but they do not sell SEM prep promoter.  However, they do sell adhesion promoter made by a company called Bulldog.  He said it is the same kind of stuff.  Does anyone have any experience with the Bulldog brand, or should I order the SEM stuff over the internet?

I'd go with the SEM myself - it works great!   Super white is your color!

I have used the SEM product line and was very happy. The Bulldog line might be just as good but I would stick with the same brand and not mix and match.

OK will do.  I called someone else here locally who will order me the correct products I need.  To do this correctly, Do I have to use the SEM soap, or can I use regular soap to clean the panels?  Also, can I buy only the adhesive spray and the dye?  Is Landau Black the correct color for the normal black panels?

I would and have used the SEM soap and would stick with that.
Landau Black is the correct color for black panels.

I haven't used the SEM soap, but I'm sure it is a top-notch product.  (I just scrubbed mine with dishsoap/water and a Scotchbrite pad). 

Yes, the Landau Black is correct, and will look great.

I have heard of other people not using the soap and it turning out fine.  Just make sure you get it really, really clean with all oil/grease removed.  Wash it 4 times if you have to...prep is everything with this.

I will definitely keep y'all posted.  I'm supposed to get the products either Friday or Monday and will start the work shortly after.  It'll be my first time doing this, so I hope I don't mess 'em up!
