Thanks Rev, Walt and everyone else with the super advice. I am really pleased with the way they came out.
Russ, The interior door panels were sprayed in the position they are in in the picture. The kick panels were sprayed exactly opposite (180 degrees) of how they are in the pics. Walt had warned me that the adhesive would 'pool' in areas that would allow, so I turned them to that position where any excess adhesive would run somewhere other than to the same place. The SEM products are definitely the way to go. I never expected them to come out this way, especially under my control. I showed them to 2 of my neighbors - one with a '68 Chevelle SS and the other with 2 '87 Buick GN's, and they were both blown away with the SEM product results. The Chevelle guy already plans to order some products for his car.
JayBee, thanks for the compliment. I'll be happy to help anybody who needs it, but I tell ya...if I can do it, it honestly means anyone can!
I'm a novice!
When I get pictures of the actual door panels, I will post them as well. I'm glad y'all convinced me to go with SEM.
