I'd have to have a lot more info on each car. Have they both had the same quality of work done to them? Is there a paper trail on them? How much if any body work was done? Are both interiors equal? What rear, ratio, sure grip? How do they drive? Do each of the tops fit nicely?

Everything else aside, I like the red one a lot more.
:iagree:
Either way, they are both verts. and will always bring money to the table.

Easy call for me, just never could handle red/orange/yellow. Please don't shoot me if you have a red car. There are some nice reds though if you go darker on the chart.

Looking at the recent BJ prices it seems that original cars (purple)are holding value better than ones that are slightly modified(red).  Investment wise the purple convertible.

I was smiling..

The red one was in front in the poll..  And now - it's 16 - 16.. :swear:

More or less we decided to go for the red one, less money, and it looks great..
Just waiting for the answers and pics. on the last questions to seller..

On top of the price, I'm gonna pay..
Shipping and fees - $ 3000..
incurance: $ 1200..
Tax and fees in DK: $ 2500..
And, I have to pay more than $ 5000 in tax to get a Danish title/licensplate, and that's cheap, cours the car is more than 35 years old.
On a brand new car we pay 180% of car price for the title/licensplates...

Well, I voted for the red one just because it really stands out better than the purple with white and I like the Ralley wheels better.  That being said, the 71 Vert 318 car I am restoring is going to be Plum Crazy baby!!  It will just have a black top and stripes.  I would rather spend $12k less and have the car I am going to drive for the next 20+ years.  The money I have invested in it will be paid back with jealous looks from Ford owners, warm days at the car shows, and the wind passing over my bald scalp.  My kids can get a job and earn their own money. I'm not leaving them anything except a 60 year old purple car with, faded paint, a well worn seat, and 100K miles on it.

I voted for the red car. Drive it and enjoy the car. It will always be worth good money being a vert.
