I think you guys need to hold off on judgement until you have seen it in person.
Seen in at SEMA 2005 and it was the most amazing piece of rolling art I have EVER seen! 
$500k is a steal for the Van Gogh or Monet or Picasso of musclecars. A ONE of ONE demonstration of creativity and engineering at its finest.
Ragtop, if you want to relate the G-force 'cuda to a form of art I would definitely classify it as a cubists’ spin on expressionism, and, yes, cubism has been, and is, used in automobile design in cars with success.
You referenced van Gogh, the 'cuda would maybe pass as late van Gogh, earlier works of his were mostly impressionist drawings and paintings that were likened to real life. His last six years or so, as he was going absolutely bonkers, he put out expressionist works such as The Starry Night. Like the famous Scream by Edvard Munch, these paintings are amazing. Google "Scream, Munch” and tell me Coke bottle Chargers don't look like they were influenced indirectly by that art form.
Muscle cars, IMO, do not accept a cubist spin. The late sixties and seventies popular culture influenced the design of our cars and nailed it for the most part.
What I am trying to say, Ragtop, would you let Baroque or Picasso take an original van Gogh expressionist painting and sketch it up and re-do it? I hope not.
We all know that these wildly custom car builders probably pay no attention to art, but indirectly styles and preferences have been passed down and some people like to accentuate lines while others like flares, curves, and bubbles.
Either way, whatever artist you liken the G-force 'cuda to, most people don't like it. I have seen probably every picture of it posted on the internet and read all about it. The technology is amazing. I don't think it was worth spending near a million dollars on it and I don't think the original design of Plymouth's 'cuda was improved upon.
